The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is one of the area’s largest community-based organizations, serving 200,000+ members through 29 centers, five camps, and countless partner sites in seven counties. 

An in-house studio creates content for the overarching association as well as the individual sites, working alongside Y staff and participants to showcase “mission moments.” I wrote copy for the website, blog, social media, email, direct mail, display and OOH ads, event marketing materials, and annual reports.

My role: copywriting, copyediting, concepting, interviewing, reporting
